To: Bellevue West Little League Community
The past few weeks have been difficult due to the complicated situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus). The Board of BWLL has been closely monitoring the actions of Bellevue School District, King County Health Department, and the CDC. Concurrent with today's announcement of the closure of classes in the BSD, we have made the decision to temporarily shut down all activities, including all games and practices, for Bellevue West Little League. Opening Day, originally scheduled for March 28th, will be postponed. Several other area Little Leagues have already enacted similar measures.
Our hope is that we will continue activities as soon as possible. While we all hope that our day-to-day life, including Little League Baseball, will soon return to normal, we recognize that there is a lot of anxiety in the community and have determined it is in the best interest of the Little League community to take a pause in this uncertain period of time. We will communicate any changes in policy as they arise.

We have not decided on a cancellation or not for opening day, we hope to get all player pitch teams notified of the rosters and machine pitch next week.
